Rain in the forest, lofi for sleeping
Soft lofi for rain falling through leaves: a gentle wash, tiny soft drops and a little breeze. The greenest, most open room in the house.
About this rain
Rain on leaves is soft. The drops are cushioned and the sound is breathy and slow, which suits people who find window and roof rain too sharp.
The playlist picks the gentler tracks from the green records: Tranquil Trails, Bloom, Mellow Skies and Endless Forest. The spookier Endless Forest tracks are left out on purpose.
The “Rain in the Forest” preset uses the leaves layer, a light wash and a little wind.

Quick answers
Is there birdsong?
No. The rain, leaves and wind are real recordings with no birds in them, and the music is all instrumental. No birds, no animals.
What if my phone stops the sound when the screen locks?
Some mobile browsers pause web audio when the screen locks. Use the dim button instead of locking the phone.
Can I use these tracks in a video?
Yes, free with credit under CC BY 4.0. See Free to use.
